Yes, all of our libraries are open for anyone to use, except for Newman Library's overnight hours of midnight to 7:30am, when you must have a Virginia Tech ID to enter or remain in the building.
Anyone may use any of our physical collections on site, and our public computers allow for guests to log on. Almost all of our online resources can be accessed by anyone on site.
Residents of Virginia and other Virginia college students can get a borrower's card to be able to check out materials.
Interlibrary loan services and remote access to our online resources are restricted to current students and faculty. Access to the campus's wireless network is restricted to current students and faculty.
