There are two methods, depending on how much you need:
If you need the entire book, bound journal, or similar material, use the green Request button in Addison. We pick up materials each weekday morning when we're open. Materials should be ready for you at the circulation desk in Newman by lunchtime (by the next day if you requested delivery to another branch). Log in to My Lbrary Account after noon; any items listed as ON HOLDSHELF are waiting for you.
If you only need an article or book chapter from an item in storage, use the Desktop Delivery service to request a scan. (If you found the article or book chapter in the usual databases, there will be a link to the Desktop Delivery form on the Get VText page or sidebar.) Scans are done multiple times each weekday, so there's typically less of a delay.
